The view from my Johari window

I’m a bit frazzelled after drawing roadshow duty again today, so I am going to forgo a proper blog-post and leave you with the following little task –
Visit my Johari Window and mark which words you associate with me.

We can then all learn together about what sort of person I am/I think I am/you think I am.

A Johari window is a metaphorical tool intended to help people better understand their interpersonal communication and relationships. A bit more can be found in the Wikipedia entry.

Yes, silly, but did you honestly think I could manage serious all the time?

  2. Well, I look forward to your input when you get round to it.

So far, it turns out that most people think I’m witty and intelligent. Not surprisingly the people who know me best in RL have a slightly different take on things than those of you who know me just through the blog, but it is fascinating to see how people perceive you from based on just your writing!

  3. Having just discuss the topic at evening class with the tutor. I was amazed to find such information about it online. Not one person had a clue what it was.

Johari Window will not only remain in my notes it will be used at lot more now I know about in depth.

Thank You for the information. :gulp_ee:

  4. My pleasure Victoria.
I’m still not totally sure how it works myself, but there does seem to be an interesting consensus as to my personality. I don’t fully agree with that consensus, but other people think similar things.

I’m glad you found it useful 🙂
