bloody staplers

Fiendishly complex computer systems hold no fear for me.

So why can’t I get a bloody stapler to work?!

  1. Well…it has to do with the fact that we first have to answer the grand question. What ae staplers for? And why do you need them?

  2. I need it to staple one piece of paper to another piece of paper. It’s not rocket science, yet every time I try, the damn thing jams on me.

I am starting to get a reputation in the office as the person who breaks things. Printers, photocopiers, staplers…

And just now I managed to delete all the work I’ve been doing for the past two days. IT promise me they can get it back, but till I see those files with my own eyes, I’m going to be hiding under my desk and taking a very long lunch break.

I should just go home now, before I burn down the building when I make a cup of tea or something!

  3. People still use papers? What will they think off next?

I know exactly how you feel though, my girl’s a little…clumsy as well. Oh well, can’t be helped I guess. We just have to live one day at a time. 🙂

  4. I decided a long time ago to make “adorable clutz” a good trait. It’s the only way I can get through the day *sigh*

IT got my files back for me! *Does a happy dance* Most times I’m with the majority and only have bad things to say about corporate IT, but our guys can do a good job when they have to 🙂

  5. Repeat after me: You finger does not go in between the stapler to make sure it works. Remember that, and using it will be fairly painless. 🙂

  6. You can’t edit comments because you can’t register – the blog has no secure(ish) way of verifying you are you, so it (quite rightly) won’t let you change comments that might belong to someone else.

If enough people wanted it, I would willingly reconsider letting people register, but I am not sure I see the need.
