Shoes With Arms

I maintain that shoes with arms is a scary idea.

Moose and illyna feel that it is not creepy at all.

I think the odd Czech chocolate might have a lot to answer for.

  1. As I was trying to point out many times… I can understand the creepiness but why fixate on the arms?! I mean, you have no trouble with living shoes which can talk and live in Shoe Town…

And the arms is the stretch you can’t accommodate?

  2. The 80’s are really making a comeback this week…

Is this just a post to freak us out to coincide with the moving of Bright Meadow from near the top of bloglines to the bottom?

  3. Have you all been watching Roger Rabbit ( and where have I read an article about that recently, about that very shoe?)

Neko, who is mean to be doing homework ๐Ÿ™

  4. illyna – yes, the arms are too much. You’ve got to draw the line somewhere ๐Ÿ˜›

Dan – yup. Well spotted. (For those who read in RSS/are generally just unobservant, see what Dan was talking about here. All is back to normal now though ๐Ÿ™‚

Neko – not Roger Rabbit, but “The Shoe People”. I really don’t think I could explain further.

Yes Jay. Shoes. With arms. I know – it’s a horrible, horrible thought, isn’t it?

  5. Yeah I changed it back. It was creeping me out even more than the thought of shoes with arms. Guess I was more attached to ‘Bright Meadow’ than I realised.

  6. I have a recollection forming but I think I had forgotten said cartoon in an attempt to protect my fragile, young mind…

And I really have recently read an article somewhere, about animation I think, where they talked abut the shoe that got ‘dipped’ ’cause they wanted you to sympathise with it but didn’t want to dissolve something too human or cute in movie.

My mind is flaking…. mmmm flakes…..

  7. Right. Shoes with Arms. Roger Rabbit. Czech chocolate. Mm. I’m going back to bed รขโ‚ฌโ€œ cry under the duvet รขโ‚ฌโ€œ because this riddle plain scares me it’s so confusing.

  8. Nope. Sober as judges. Cream crackered to boot (though that might go some way to explaining the edge of hysteria reached at some points…)

Sorry Nils, there is an explanation, but it’s not going to make much sense. Or be half as amusing, so I’m not going to share.

  9. Those who don’t know Cas personally are hreby warned to just switch their brains off and stop trying to make sense of this post. Your head will explode if you don’t. Just smile and nod and back away slowly. Make a dash for the nearest exit when you’re sure she’s not looking. Good luck.

    ;-P

  10. Repeat after me: “Cas is delightfully kooky, Cas is just wonderful, Cas is sublime”.

And if you do run away, chicken ๐Ÿ˜›

  11. I don’t want to run away! I understand perfectly.

And yes it is twenty past five in the morning. I’m not drunk. Honest guv…
