I don’t care what it says. I don’t really care why it was made. I couldn’t give a flying monkeys why the person who made it chose the soundtrack they did (though it is a good track).
All I care is that it is penguins playing football.
My thanks JB for finding this. If I ranked my minions, this would probably get you gold status or something! 😀
My minions rule!
Damn those penguins move fast – is this part of their master plan?
Clearly they are in training for something they plan to pull in the next [insert important match/league/championship here] or something.
Then again it might be misdirection. Perhaps they are aware that they are under suspicion and are laying false trails…
I have to say, there is one very disturbing bit in the middle of the video where there is a five penguin pile up as they celebrate a goal. It may just be my dirty mind, but it just looked plain wrong
truly bizarre
I didn’t know what it was either until I read my RSS this morning – thanks to Mari for an explanation. Its a new feature of Winning Eleven, that you can now play online. You can choose uniforms for the players, including Ostrich, Dinosaurs and Penguins. More pics at the Winning Eleven Site.
I love the interweb.
Hahaha…even though it’s probably a PS2 game. There is something disturbingly cute about that one. I think I found a way to actually like football. Pretend they are all penguins on the field. That’ll get my socks off. 🙂
The interweb is very cool. But somehow finding that it is an actual game you can play lessens it for me. I was loving the thought that someone had carefully crafted each scene with no purpose in mind other than a desire to see penguins play football.
It’s still a great video though, don’t get me wrong 😀
Ah, lovely. As long as we get to see videos of antarctic avians playing footie, you just know the world will be okay. Or not, perhaps, depending on your mindset.
But I loved it and I can’t wait for raccoon snooker or whatever’s next.
well that is interesting.
It really is great.
I wanted to show it to some people at work today, but the computer I was using was lacking essential plugins which evil IT won’t install (fair enough, it’s not as if I can really claim penguin football is essential to my job).
I watched it again just now though. So good!
And welcome to Bright Meadow 🙂
Too good! Thanks for this, Cas (and JB)!
