– Well, nothing exciting has been happening lately so you haven’t missed much (if anyone still checks this site!). Starting to get into the course. At the moment it is more computing than archaeology (which is good IMO), but todays lecture has made me think how badly coded this site is. Expect a total overhaul soon! Into XHTML no less (if I can get my head round it… Note to self, must remember to close tags! Bad habit, bad, BAD habit…

– (ever so slightly later in the evening). Well, I’ve just had a quick browse round the site, mainly because I can now I have a shiny fast connection, but also because I wanted to, and I realised that some of the pages are so old they could qualify for their bus passes! And others are so sadly neglected they were spiders webs hanging about everywhere. So, I am going to go away, have a think, and try and come up with another design for this place. That, and work on some coding that doesn’t make the pages look screwy on smaller screens. Heyho *reaches for the Beginners Guide to HTML once more* Some light bedtime reading…

– Well, after a summer of neglecting you totally, I won’t be surprised if no one is even reading this any more. But I don’t care! I am safely moved into uni now – the halls aren’t great, but I DO have a snazzy high speed connection in the room, so I envisage more updates and work on the site, because it won’t be so painful to do!

Um, and that is it for now. I full of gorgeous chinese food that my wonderful flatmates cooked, so I am going to curl up in bed with a good book and digest it. Yes, I know, bad student – should be out partying – but I am a postgraduate now. We are (apparently) grown up and beyond all that. Meant to be working hard.

Well, that’s the theory.
