Eek. August had two skip days. My bad. Again, there was no reason for this one. I saw something in the morning I meant to take a photo of, then I didn’t, and then… I just forgot. Cut me some slack! Only 6 days missing in nearly a year!

This is one of the last books I had anything to do with before I left OUP and it is a joy to finally have my hands on a real copy. The quirky, beautiful artwork from the very talented David Roberts wonderfully complements the classic story by Kenneth Grahame. Wind in the Willows was recently ranked 8th in a poll of the top 50 children’s books ever, and rightfully so. Go get a copy.

Since Instagram updated and stopped their support of Posterous (boo), I’ve been having to post each days picture manually. Which sucks. And meant I kept forgetting.

Then I remembered the awesome service ifttt.com, or “If THIS, then THAT”. In a very simple fashion, you say: “if THIS happens, I want you do do THAT”. So, in this case – “If I post a new instagram photo tagged #365, then automatically post it to the blog”.

Simples.
