The guy (and it most certainly was a guy) who invented beige carpets needs to be shot. And as for the guy who thought of installing them in rental properties… I don’t have a good enough imagination for a suitable punishment for him. Grr

What do you not like about beige carpets?
They are remarkably impractical.
And when you have long, brown hair (and moult as much as I do), a bugger to clean! You hoover one night, and the very next day it looks like you haven’t!
I’ve turned into a carpet-nazi in my old age, sad but true.
