Why is fruit so heavy? Just got back from the shops with this weeks groceries – I swear the bags weighed twice as much as usual thanks to all the bloody fruit I’m now buying. Consequence – the five minute walk home took ten, and my arms feel like they’ve been the victim of some cruel and unusual torture device. This diet sucks! I was good and did take the stairs up to the flat though, regardless 🙂

Just think… carrying the fruit is helping you get fitter and loose weight. 😉
I’m just marvelling at my timing – start on a diet that involves lugging quantities of heavy food around after nice strong Canadians return to their home territories.

Humph, never a man around when you need one. :rolleyes_wp:
😉
I am sure you know that the main component is one of the heavier substances – H2O.
They make dumbbells that you can fill with water just for that reason.
And RIB is correct you can get your exercise and your food all at once!
yeah, like RIB said- you’re building muscle. Pain means gain! Muscle burns fat! You can eliminate weight training because you’re fruit-lugging instead! Keep up the good fight. I’m kind of “dieting”- eating a heackufalot of fruit -along with you, so I know what you mean. All of us eating fruit and suffering the consequences deserve encouraging.
I’m giving serious consideration to buying one of those wheeled shopping trolleys that little old ladies have…
I know, I know, it will be good for me in the long run, but the short run hurts!
Thank you all for the encouragement though. I’m getting to the point that I’m needing it – I have been a bit lax this week (skipped my smoothie twice in a row for scrambled eggs on toast). And I haven’t been to the gym in over a week.

Bad Cas.
Yes. Bad Cas.
Shouldn’t we be shaming you into going the gym…?
You could try?
I am on occasion doing yoga – and lots and lots of walking…
Yes, I know, I should get back to the gym.
*hangs head in shame*
