Blame technorati for this one. If it hadn’t popped up in the ‘linking to you’ section I would never have known about it. But it did pop up, and I do know about it, and I rarely back down from a challenge…
- Are you craving anything and if so, what?
Yoghurt covered pretzels. That’s the one draw back with no longer dating the CC – I no longer have a supplier. If anyone’s feeling generous enough can you hook me up? *flutters eyelashes* (I’m pretty certain Sugar Mountain does them). - What is the weather outside, and do you wish it would change?
Changeable – sunny one minute, gloomy/rainy the next. No, I don’t wish it would change. I like the weather in all it’s forms. I may grumble about it (I’m British so moaning about the weather is kind of compulsory) but I still like it. You never know what’s going to happen next
- What two web sites do you think you will go to next after you are ï¬nished here?
I think I will actually go read a book. I’ve done most of my browsing for the day, my wrist is killing me, and Vienna will tell me of anything interesting through RSS. - Do you wish you were somewhere else and if so, where?
I’m actually quite attached to where I am now. Though I’d love to live in New Zealand (if we’re talking long term). A holiday in Scotland would be nice (Edinburgh and Stirlingshire). Or just a week or so to kick back and relax back in Somerset. - Do you wish you were someone else, and if so, who?
Hell! I have a hard enough time being me! I can honestly say I don’t want to be anybody else. There are bits of me I wouldn’t mind changing slightly, but I still want to be me. And dating Johnny Depp, but that wasn’t the question you asked, was it?
I tag – whoever wants to do this. And Tammie, Jay and Rich because I’m curious…

[...] I’ve had a few thoughts and ideas percolating for blog posts, but I’ve not written them up just yet (some I’ve written up, but I’m letting them percolate a bit more before I click that big ol’ Post button). So, here’s a meme that I saw at Bright Meadow. I’m American, it’s Labor Day here, and the meme is ‘U.S. Labor Day Meme.’ So, it’s fitting, I guess. [...]
Funny you should mention New Zealand. There’s a distinct possibility I’m moving there next year.
[...] Cas tagged me with a meme. I hate memes, and they usually annoy the shit out of me. I have, in fact, vowed never to participate in one. I had, however, never been “tagged” before when I made that vow. It’s nice. Like your first erection. So, in a blaze of hypocrisy, here goes my first meme. Are you craving anything and if so, what? [...]
[...] Just as I was going to shut down jump4jay.com for a little while because I feel as though I have very little to say about anything these days, and I want to start concentrating more on writing for Metroblogging Montreal, it seems as though I’ve been tagged and given a reason to start typing by Cas. Surprise surprise =P! As I was reading her post and came to realize what it was all about, I got the gut feeling that I’d be next. My gut is rarely wrong. [...]
New Zealand – you lucky so and so. I don’t know why, but in the last year or so I’ve just really wanted to move to New Zealand (and no, it’s not because I saw it in LotR
)
Y’all would be welcome down here, I am sure!
Oooh, fancy putting in a good word for me with immigration?
I was curious and went looking through the NZ government’s site, looking at the kind of people they want in the country. Sadly computing-archaeologists who want to work in publishing aren’t wanted. If I was a sheep or pig farmer, I’d be fine. Alas, I’m neither of those things. Knew I studied the wrong stuff at university!
Speaking very seriously, I probably could write a reference. An English friend of mine came as a writer and journalist: could that be something you could look at?
