Ah! I saw that quoted on your Twitter feed but the link didn’t work. Now I understand. 🙂
It’s such a great line. I was picturing that happening long after I read it.
It really jumped out at me. I’m really enjoying this author – Ben Aaronovitch (http://www.the-folly.com/) The first book is “Rivers of London” (“Midnight Riot” in the US) and is a really quirky detective story, biting satire, intro to the British police force, noir comedy. With magic. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it, but it surprised me and I am have now bought all three books.
